Whitcliffe Drive

When the clients approached us through a recommendation, they had just acquired this property which was in need of serious renovation and modernisation. The existing property was on a large corner plot with uninterrupted views of the Sea. The initial thoughts of the clients were to knock house down and build two replacement dwellings which would have created narrow houses with limited glazing area to the front. We were able to propose an alternative solution which involved completely re-modelling and extending existing accommodation to maximise views of the sea. Subsequent to this project, our clients instructed us to design a dormer bungalow to the rear of their property. Through negotiations with the Local Authority, we were also able to gain planning approval for this.
